Earlier this week, mysterious billboards began to appear around London streets that appeared to tease an upcoming collaboration between the UK’s very-own Corteiz and NYC streetwear legends Supreme. Details were few and far between, leaving fashion fans to predict what might be to come. However, late last night, Supreme and Corteiz took to Instagram to unveil official lookbook images of the capsule collection, which consists of a T-shirt and a hoodie. It’s hard not to admire just how far Corteiz has come within the scene in such a small space of time, as collaborating with streetwear royalty such as Supreme is a dream come true for most upcoming labels. Plus, let’s not forget the brand’s epic Nike Air Max 95 collaboration that dropped earlier on this year.
The brand-new Corteiz x Supreme collection in question keeps things relatively simple, with just two garments that both sport the same design – Corteiz’s iconic “Alcatraz” logo with Supreme written above. Pictured only in black, it’s currently unclear whether more colours will launch. The T-shirt will be made available later today via Supreme’s online store, whereas the hoodie seems to be exclusive to a Cortiez pop-up store, which hasn’t yet been revealed.
