The 1017 ALYX 9SM x Nike Air Force 1 Pack Drops Soon

Published: by Jack Aldrich

Fresh off the back of teased images shared by 1017 ALYX 9SM’s founder Matthew M Williams, we now have an official look at the label’s upcoming Nike Air Force 1 collaboration. The fashion world has been in shock this week as Matthew M Williams has stepped down from his role as the creative director of Givenchy, as well as selling his majority stake in his own 1017 ALYX 9SM label, but it seems this upcoming AF1 collaboration will be his last hurrah with the brand. The AF1 has been popular as ever in recent months, with other labels such as Off-White, fragment Design and NOCTA all previewing or launching brand-new collaborative releases using the silhouette.

Now back again for this collaborative project, the 1982 classic is decked out in both a triple white and a triple black colourway, looking remarkably similar to off-the-shelf production line AF1s. However, upon closer inspection the sneakers do feature some special-edition touches, such as 1017 ALYX 9SM branding hot-stamped onto the lateral sides, silver-tone metal lace holes and a custom “ALYX” lace dubrae on each shoe. Set to release on the 15th December, will you be looking to get your hands on either of these pairs? Stay tuned right here at Crepslocker for even more sneaker news as it happens and while you’re with us, check out the rest of our site for all the latest luxury fashion, streetwear and more!
