Jordan Brand has a long and rich history behind it, and in recent years the label has been celebrating iconic models from the past with its ongoing Air Jordan 1 ‘85 series. Highlighting original AJ1 models from the first year of production, we’ve seen some epic releases as part of this series and now there’s rumours of another addition circulating. Multiple sources have reported that we’re likely to see an Air Jordan 1 ‘85 “Reverse Shadow” in 2025, based on an unreleased sample from the early days. While this specific pair never releases, Jordan Brand did pay homage to the colour scheme back in 2021 with the Air Jordan 1 Shadow 2.0 (pictured). However, it’s expected that the ‘85 variation will showcase a slightly different cut and premium construction fabrics.
We’re yet to see any official imagery of this upcoming release, although it’s likely that the pair will follow suit with the rest of the ‘85 series and will come complete with OG branding, supple suede panels and a cushioned midsole unit. Be sure to keep it locked in right here at Crepslocker, as we’ll have more on this developing story as it happens.
