2024 is shaping up to be a great year for Jordan Brand, with plenty of high-profile releases already confirmed for release. However it looks like the Jumpman label may well have another surprise ready for us in the form of an Air Jordan 5 “Black Cat”. First seen back in 2006 on the AJ4, the “Black Cat” colourway has become a firm favourite for Jordan fans, although it’s never graced the Air Jordan 5 before. As it stands there’s no official images of the model in question, although we can hazard a guess at how it may look with the help of high-quality mockups. Showcasing a blacked-out look across the uppers, the AJ5 looks stealthy and versatile, with all the usual features you’d expect from the 1990 classic sneaker.
It’s likely that the sneakers will feature a nubuck upper and will of course be released in limited numbers. As it stands, we don’t have any further details regarding the rumoured pair, although we’ll be sure to share more as soon as we have them.
