The Best Supreme x Nike Collaborations Ever

Published: by Jack Aldrich

Known for being easily the biggest streetwear brand in the world, Supreme has been producing quality products since 1994 and has amassed quite the name for itself in the world of fashion. Teaming up with labels such as Vans, The North Face and even Louis Vuitton, the NYC-based brand has become known as the king of collaborations. Over the years, Supreme has also learnt a thing or two about sneakers, after all, the brand has been teaming up with Nike ever since 2002. The duo have worked together on a plethora of different silhouettes, launching hundreds of sneakers that have been widely well-received.

Here at Crepslocker we’ve been following Supreme x Nike efforts for years and have seen some incredible releases hit the market, so today we’re showcasing our favourite pairs ever and sharing some lesser-known details regarding these picks. So without further ado, check out our favourite ever Supreme x Nike collaborations below!

Supreme x Nike Air Jordan 5

Supreme x Air Jordan 5 (2015)

Back in 2015, Air Jordan collaborations were few and far between. So when Supreme NYC shock dropped three colourways of the popular Air Jordan 5, sneaker fans lost their minds. Offered up in desert camo, black, or white, the kicks showcasing Supreme’s instantly-recognisable “Sup” logo across the medial sides, as well as “94” lettering on the rears. While Air Jordan collaborations may well be more prominent now, many sneakerheads will remember this release as one that changed the game.

Supreme x Nike Air Max Plus

Another silhouette that very rarely acts as the blank canvas for collaborative projects is the Nike TN Air Max Plus. While the pair has long since been a popular option for footwear fans, the elusive sneaker is more often seen in great general release colourways. However, back in 2020, Supreme opted to use the silhouette as inspiration for a fresh new collaboration, breathing a new lease of life into the model and exposing it to a new audience. The kicks launched in three different colourways and the iconic exoskeleton of the uppers subtly spelled out “Supreme”.

Supreme x Nike Air Force 1

Sometimes less really is more, and that’s certainly the case with 2020’s Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 collaboration. Launched in two colourways, the 1982 classic sneaker remained relatively unchanged, with the simple addition of a red Supreme box logo on the rear of the lateral sides. The NYC-based brand later made these kicks a seasonal release, with an additional wheat colourway also dropping a few years later.

Supreme x Nike Air More Uptempo

While it’s absolutely not for everyone, the Nike Air More Uptempo holds a special place in the hearts of many sneakerheads due to its weird and wonderful design language. Known for seeking out the more obscure models, Supreme opted to collaborate on the Uptempo in 2017, thus birthing the aptly-titled “Suptempo”. Swapping out the bold “AIR” branding on the kicks for “SUPREME” wrapping around either side, these sneakers were made available in gold, red and black colourways.

Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low Stars

Supreme’s relationship with Nike began with a skateboarding-focused release, and the duo aren’t afraid to pay homage to their roots, with the impressive Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low “Stars” launching in 2021. Inspired by the 2003 Dunk High collaboration, these premium-looking kicks offer a vibrant and colourful look, with gold star details rounding off the design. Four different colourways hit the market and the pairs remain in-demand even today.

Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite

Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite One (2014)

While it may not be the most-hyped sneaker in today’s market, back in 2014 the Nike Air Foamposite One was a trending silhouette, and Supreme helped excel this movement via an ultra-limited collaboration. Launched in two colourways and showing off gold details, these kicks were so popular in NYC that they allegedly caused a full-scale riot, with the NYPD having to shut down the release. In turn, no further Supreme x Nike collaborations were released in-store in NYC.

Supreme x Nike Air Max 98

Supreme x Nike Air Max 98 (2016)

As the final addition to our list, we have the Supreme x Nike Air Max 98 collaboration from back in 2016. Picking a lesser-seen silhouette as the first Air Max sneaker to be used as part of a Supreme x Nike effort, the Box Logo brand showed off a quartet of unique designs inspired by the legendary Prada America’s Cup sneaker. Of course, the classic snakeskin pair finished off the collection, along with matching apparel for each sneaker too.
