By now, Travis Scott has already cemented himself as a force to be reckoned with in the sneaker industry. But that hasn’t slowed down his collaborative streak, as the Houston-based rapper prepares to launch one more pair before 2023 draws to a close. Titled the Cactus Jack x Nike Attack, the collaboration uses John McEnroe’s signature sneaker (the Nike Mac AttacK) as its blank canvas. Backed by a genius marketing campaign that staged Travis Scott and John McEnroe himself disagreeing on the name of the collaboration via a “leaked” zoom call, the sneakers feature Scott’s trademark reversed Swoosh logo, as well as a few other hidden touches.
Crafted from premium leather across the uppers, the kicks are painted in the OG Mac Attack colour scheme that consists of hits of grey, black and white, while blue and red accents at the tongue add another layer to the design. Cactus Jack’s logo is embroidered onto the heels here, while this all sits atop of a white midsole that provides plenty of cushioning to ensure these are comfortable. Set to launch on the 19th December and coming complete in a special-edition box, will you be looking to add these to your sneaker collection?
