Legendary US-based graffiti artist Futura has long since been a familiar name in the streetwear and sneaker industry, with the highly-coveted “FLOM” Dunk collaboration launching over 20 years ago. While modern-day sneakerheads might never get their hands on the old-school Futura collaborations, it seems that the artist and Nike are joining forces once again for a brand-new pair of Dunks. Rumoured to launch in May, Futura has now unveiled images of two Dunk Low colourways. The first of which appears to be crafted from canvas and shows off multi-coloured Futura artwork and dark-green Swoosh logos. The second colourway opts for a brighter colour scheme, with salmon-pink Swooshes completing the look.
However, rumour has it that the second colourway will be a friends and family exclusive, meaning that your average sneakerhead won’t be able to cop this pair and will have to stick to the blue hued pair. Set to release next month, there’s no exact date set for the collaboration yet, so be sure to stay locked in right here at Crepslocker for more on this developing story as we get it.
