Fear of God and adidas first announced a partnership back in 2020, however since then we’ve heard very little regarding the collaborative project the world was promised. Nearly three years later, the project has finally been officially unveiled, dubbed Fear of God Athletics. According to FOG founder Jerry Lorenzo, the new line “completes the architecture of Fear of God, a brand that was established in 2013”. The range will sit alongside the mainline label, and the hugely-popular Fear of God Essentials sub-brand. The official lookbook for the collaborative project has now been unveiled, shot by photographer Nadav Kander.
Seen in a sci-fi like setting, the garments showcase minimalist branding throughout and resemble classic items like jerseys and track pants with a futuristic twist. It’s still unclear exactly what items will be released, although the good news is that we can expect the collection to launch online and in stores from December 3rd.
