NIGO Previews an Unseen Nike Air Force 3 Sample

Published: by Jack Aldrich

Known for founding some of the world’s greatest streetwear brands, it’s safe to say that NIGO has been more than just an influential figure within the sneaker industry over the years. Now heading up creative direction over at KENZO, the Japanese icon was spotted rocking a never-before seen pair of Nike Air Force 3s during the brand’s SS25 show. Rumours have been circulating for a while now claiming that NIGO was due a Swoosh collaboration, with sources stating that the designer was going to set to work on the rarely-seen 1988 silhouette.

More commonly seen in high-top variation, the AF3 was originally created for basketball players, although it did also prove popular amongst sneakerheads and fashion fans alike. Seen here decked out in a white base layer, the kicks display red, green and yellow hues, with beige suede overlays adding an additional layer of depth to the design. As it stands, it’s unclear if we’ll see an official release or even a genuine collaboration between NIGO and Nike, however make sure to keep it locked in right here at Crepslocker where we’ll be updating you as soon as you know more. In the meantime, take a look at Pharrell’s SS25 Louis Vuitton collection too!
